Warranty Tiers
Plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, tile replacement, drywall patching, fixture installation, and similar scope work.
What's covered
Bathroom remodels, partial kitchen renovations, flooring installations, cabinetry, countertops, and comparable scope projects.
What's covered
Full home renovations, structural additions, room builds, outdoor living structures, major system installations, and complete project scopes.
What's covered
Materials, fixtures, and equipment installed by LIVALU are subject to their respective manufacturer warranties. LIVALU actively manages manufacturer warranty claim processes on behalf of the homeowner during the workmanship warranty period.
Void Conditions
The warranty protects the work LIVALU executes. If a third party intervenes or the work is altered without our coordination, we cannot stand behind the outcome.
If any person, contractor, or service provider other than LIVALU modifies, repairs, or otherwise alters the work after project completion, the warranty is immediately void for the affected scope. This includes subcontractors hired directly by the homeowner without LIVALU coordination.
Damage caused by improper use, lack of routine maintenance, or actions inconsistent with the care recommendations documented in your LIVALU inspection reports will void the warranty for the affected components.
Any alteration to the completed work — including painting over sealed surfaces, removing installed components, or structural changes — without prior written notice to LIVALU voids the warranty for the modified area.
Damage resulting from extreme weather events, flooding, acts of third parties, pest infestations, or other causes beyond LIVALU's control and unrelated to the original workmanship are excluded from warranty coverage.
Gradual deterioration consistent with the expected lifespan of materials — such as paint fading, caulk shrinkage over years, or surface wear from regular use — is not covered under workmanship warranty.
Claim Process
Reach out by phone or through your member portal. Describe the issue and reference your project date.
We review the original project scope, inspection reports, and photos to confirm warranty eligibility.
A LIVALU technician visits within 48 hours (members) or 5 business days (standard) to assess the issue.
If the claim is valid, LIVALU repairs or replaces the affected work at no cost to the homeowner.
Because LIVALU already has continuous visibility into your property, if something fails within the warranty period we detect it at your next scheduled inspection and address it with no additional diagnostic fee. Members also receive priority 48-hour response on all warranty claims.
